Vanilla almond butter, I started to respond out of appreciation for the spoonful of sugar that replaced breakfast 5/7 days while juggling all of the things this year.

Real talk: what has given you gratitude through the struggles of 2020? And what will keep you moving forward through the struggles ahead?

Struggles and constraints forced us all inward in search of something more, strengthening and softening, closing us off and opening us up. I’m thankful for the grit and grace this year has given me, the newfound awareness of and appreciation for my struggles, my failures, and my blackness and the daily invitation it’s brought to be a better me.
